I am so sick of being eaten to death when I am fishing by midges and mosquitos. So this is the mixture I am using to lather myself up and stay safe.
The recipe I am using is:
Baby oil - which is used to coat the body
Antiseptic - which kills any bugs that land in it
Eucalyptus oil - which is a natural insect repellent, it's also good for soothing any bites
I have literally thrown these 3 ingredients into a 150ml pop-top drink bottle and I have put it in my boat.
The idea is, before you go outdoors, you lather up and it forms a natural insect repellent and barrier from your skin.
