in all seriousness, my son and I are Windows users and we started learning Linux on our older laptops and created instances on our Windows desktops. Even followed a guide to build Linux from scratch to learn more about it. We like playing with it a lot but because of the gaming, we end up using the Windows partition for convenience. Maybe for my next build, I won't buy Windows and force myself down the Linux path. Likely the Steam deck will give me the confidence to move in this direction.

Honestly, tiling wm's are a niche even within the linux community. Most use kde/gnome/xfce/cinnamon

You should talk about ly, the TUI display manager. It adds options for shell and .xinitrc if you're into that, and because it's terminal-based, you can demonstrate it with a chroot
