Hi, I followed your steps and successfully created a dropdown. However, while making an entry the data of cascading dropdown is not saved and not showing after saving the entry. below is the screenshot where the process and subprocess are cascading dropdown but sub-process value are showing as blank

whenever you are selecting above dropdown it shows the first value in dropdown, but I need it empty not the 1st value

i really appreciate if you can help me. i am new to power app.

i have two share point lists. 1. site select selection check list . on that list i have a column called "trail ID" ( that is auto generating from power automate. its a unique number) . then my other list 2. " land contract" i need that trial ID to that list as well. i did cascading function. Then common factor is the name. i watched all your videos. i cant figure out .
i get a yellow tringle error sating " incompatible types for comparison. Any thoughts?

how can i add a "-- Select an Item -- in the all the dropdowns, and its index shud be zero. i mean, it shud b the first item within the dropdown lists. Thanks for your help and good video!

How do you code the Filter if one of your columns (that populates the first drop down) is a lookup column from another list?

Thanks for the information! How do you get the results to show in the SharePoint list? It works fine when you're entering it in the form, but once you go to edit it again, it's gone and it doesn't save.

The problem is when u try to save the form it will not save. Save button is not working after performing the changes. Can u please help

Lots of people are asking you, man, the same question. The form doesn't save the result!!! And your answer is like "...go to Data Card advance option and in the Update field change to '" - this doesn't seem to work man. Hope you can give an "real" explanation how do you get it work properly, otherwise it is just a waste of time.
