Isn't it a thing that you get locked out of the tech if you time the shield press too early. In other words you can't just spam the shield button to get the tech, right?

I don't remember the specific situation but i think it is important to know, You can LSI down to lower the launch speed which makes the window to tech a little higher % for untechables Tho I am curious when you mention wall jump teching with tilting the stick up, does that mean your launch speed would make it worse to tech assuming the situation of high %?

I thought ceiling techs were the same as wall techs, meaning that if I tech jump it’ll just bonk the characters head into the ceiling
