Great video! I'm so excited for Tesla's future, and what you are doing is genuinely pointing out flaws. Hopefully they will watch this video and source the fleet for fixes to this problem. You are helping save FSD!

Good on you for being honest with your reaction even though there might be backlash from some fans. Its important to see the whole picture (Beta 10 seems to be very good in many videos, but I guess how well it improved is a bit location based as well).

Love the honesty! As Elon himself has said "happiness is reality minus expectations" that's why it feels so frustrating. It's been hyped like crazy and it's not living up to the expectations.

first video I have seen with significant problems with FSD 10. All the other videos show so much improvement. Especially like how much better road is displayed including railroad markings on streets, solid lines vs spaced lines, etc... This drive was odd considering confidence improvement I have seen in so many other videos. Possibly partly due to being overfit for other regions? although not switching lanes quickly enough in some of these circumstances is very odd.

let it go and see what happens.. if it isnt going to crash let it run... it would be good to see how it handles a missed turn.. real people will miss turns.. there will be times when fsd has to miss a turn due to traffic or other situations.

Its just getting better in couple areas and get worse in others, actually that a Tesla thing, even regular update they go one step up in some area and break other

Thanks for the video. Disappointing that it is worse than before. All the other videos I have seen of 10 are as good or better than 9. Even Dirty Tesla in Michigan was better, and his tests are usually some of the rougher ones. FYI, AI Addict took their car out to Lombard Street, at night no less, and had a zero intervention drive for the first time. Will you be testing NC’s “Super Lombard” in the near future?

Seeing polarised reviews on FSD beta. What explains the difference? Some combo of:
Region. Road type. Driver style. Expectations. Car calibration. Other?
I’m more confident than ever they will get there however. Some things, like looking into the sun, already better than human. I’m also hearing “my bad” as often as I’m hearing “wtf”. Too aggressive v too timid is also subjective. Have to remember that both styles of driver inhabit the roads.

It would take a better success rate of 9 out of 10 to "blow my mind". I'm not sure if anything short of true FSD would "blow my mind" at this point. True FSD being, no need for the driver to even be at the wheel.

Since you are not driving in California I suspect that Tesla has not trained on your dataset for 10 yet. Elon mentioned that they needed a full retraining for 10 and that is a _lot_ of work.

There definitely seems to be massive differences in how well a new update works in different locations. Q: have you tried doing a reset just to see if there is any difference (not that I expect there to be)? Or (even though it's supposed to only be needed if windscreen replaced) recalibrating the cameras?

It seems that the car interprets white lane lines as yellow ones that it cannot cross, so it cannot get in the correct lane to make a turn
