Well done your daughter! We don’t hear very much about Type 1/Diabetes, we hear a lot about Type 2….to encourage her I am 70 yrs old, and I have had diabetes type 1 for about 65 years, being diagnosed at age 5 years. I have had a full life, and given birth to two amazing sons. I have been Mayor of my City, and Chair of the Authority. I have been a Probation Officer and worked with Offenders as a major part of my life.
I just want to encourage her, go for whatever you want to do and achieve in your life, you can do it. The advances in treatment are huge since I was diagnosed, and that is so very good. Lots of love to you, keep going……XXX there will be a proper cure one day soon ❤️❤️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️

I love the relationship between you and your daughter! Three of my 4 brothers have Parkinson’s disease. I’m beginning to be afraid I have it to. I have a lot of the non-motor symptoms.
