my unreal engine is crashing when I open then project settings and adding new texture to it and opening it in new window
but otherwise its UE5 is opening normally please help me to fix my problem

Do not do this this is DANGEROUS for your PC, doing this gives Unreal Engine priority over your keyboard and mouse, if unreal engine lags you won't be able to do anything because UE5 will have priority over your mouse inputs. DO NOT TRY.

also try turning from dx12 to dx11. in my case with rx 6750xt it was successfuly

dont put it on fucking realtime that is the highest priority used by your cpu and it is dangerous if its realtime its priority is higher than things like your mouse and keyboard

How to trust a method "fixing" unreal engine's crashes, even thouth it is not installed ... with many things not related to the problem:
-setting compat to windows 8... when this OS was the "active" on the market, UE was not integrating as many features as nowadays, even RTX was not available... I even doubt it was at least UE4
-changing priority task is as much a good solution as putting its hand in boiling water to know if temperature is ok so you can put the spaghettis in...
All this is not a sustainable solution, nor even maybe related at all, if it fixes something, it creates problems elsewhere, or at best is not as related to these suggestions as intended/supposed
