I love 💕 your explanations and reactions. Coffee ceremony isn’t just for coffee in Ethiopia 🇪🇹. Its where you discuss your problems in the neighborhood, and where you find a solution. It’s a way to vent your worries in the community as well as with in your family while you enjoying 😉 your cup of coffee and much more.

The coffee plant originates in Ethiopia. According to legend, the 9th-century goatherder Kaldi in the region of Kaffa discovered the coffee plant after noticing the energizing effect the plant had on his flock, but the story did not appear in writing until 1671.
Coffee ceremony also welcoming social gathering you invite nabour for coffee. Buna Tetu". This is an Amharic phrase that literally means "Drink coffee".
Elderly people also intermediate, discuss if there's issues in the nabour and family disagreement .
Coffee is the best place to resolve our differences between the communities in a villages. I LOVE ETHIOPIANS COFFEE

I am an Ethiopian who lives in Virginia I’m lucky because it’s easier to get fresh coffee beans and roast them myself in my state (plenty Ethiopian markets are in the area) and make coffee from scratch it’s the best feeling ever and the best coffee no Starbucks can compete with Ethiopian coffee. I don’t know how I stumbled up on your channel but love what you do I hope you visit the country one day trust me you would enjoy it.

coffee is a daily way of life .people make it everyday sometimes 3 times a day or more if a guest shows up which is more likely . The culture is still alive . There is no meaning behind it that I know of I believe it’s just where people socialize . I live in the states and I make coffee the traditional way for Ethiopian holidays or when I miss the smell of home ❤️

Coffee ceremony is one of the most significant traditions in Ethiopia and one of my favorite. Nothing matches the aroma and taste like Ethiopian coffee. Smelling the incense, eating popcorn, chitchat with fam while enjoying a cup of coffee with a leaf of rue (Tenadam) is so nostalgic🥹
Thanks guys for shining positive vibes on the motherland😍

I'm in Atlanta I work a lot, so I just grab my coffee from Starbucks like everyone else before work. But My mom do it the very traditional way with my dad. Three times a day, every morning, lunch and dinner time, with frankscence, incense and all. It's one of my favorite things to be part of it. It's healing spirituality lol it feels so great 👍. Thank you for sharing favs.

The history of coffee in Ethiopia
Kaffa is the origin of the word “coffee.” It is the name of the region in which coffee was discovered and was located in the ancient country Abyssinia, which is now modern Ethiopia, a goat herder named Kaldi spotted his animals getting frisky after eating red berries from a shrub he'd never seen before. So Kaldi gave the berries a try himself and the coffee bean was discovered.

Ethiopia is the origin of coffee esp coffee arabica(arabian caravans introduced to europe). 'Kaffa' a town located in southwest of Ethiopia is believed to be the origin of coffee. Even the name coffee is drived from Kaffa. In his funkflex freestyle Blackthought also mentioned that...I am stronger like a coffee from Kaffa

The word “coffee” named over the place where the plant was descended & developed a village in Ethiopia called Cufa, But the Ethiopians call that plant and drink Bunna.

coffee ceremonies are a daily thing in Ethiopia, and made from fresh beans each day, but the prayer thing may be from her own ancestral thing, because we do not pray over it in my home or people I know closely.
