You mentioned at the end 'He just looks like a regular guy'... reminded me of an old IRA quote about the British SAS ' Ruthless killers who can speak 6 languages and disguise themselves as a pint of Guinness"

The British SAS " who dares wins" no bullshit with those guys, no messing about, straight in, end of story, the SAS are the elite and the best.

There is a video where they chat with a young American woman who was in the hotel. After many months, her husband said that she needed to know the true story about the entire incident. As she just assumed it was a SEAL team which saved everybody. She eventually got to meet Christian Craighead and one of her questions was "why did you do what you did"? He didn't understand the question, but when she explained further, he just said, "because it's what we do".

I have known Chris most of his life, he was at school with my son and from 5 or 6 years old he wanted to be a Soldier. Through many setbacks he fought on to become the man he is today, softly spoken unassuming gentleman. Christian Craighead MBE CGC.

Terrorists are cowardly, and despicable. I am glad there are people like this SAS soldier, God bless him.

He has a podcast interview with black rifle coffee where he also talks about his 1st combat and being shot in the arm with a SVD sniper rifle leaving it hanging by his tricep. He has a titanium rod in his arm and continued to serve after. Not to mention recovering from a car crash with minimal physio. Incredible guy.

What an absolute hero! There he is in his Armani jeans and his AK and a vest and in he goes to take on 5 terrorists, and he wins! No orders, just a man who knew he could help and he risked his life to save others. As an American I’m so happy to have the British as our allies.❤️🤗🐝

I remember a few years ago there was an article in the newspaper that read something like "While training ally forces, SAS killed 14 terrorists." like it was just another usual day. All I could picture was the SAS guys standing over the dead terrorists going "That's how you do it lads, your turn!" to the trainees.

The SAS are the best, that's why they've trained other special forces all over the world. My Uncle was in the original SAS during WWII. He and his troupe were captured by the Gestapo, and Hitler ordered that they be shot, somewhere quiet. They moved them in a truck and stopped in a forest area to supposedly give them a toilet break. Then they shot my uncle and his men in the back of the head. The French put up various memorials to them, and not long after the SAS decided to hunt down their murderers and bring them to justice. I have a video of how they spent over a year finding all of them, and bringing them to justice, which ended at the famous Nuremburg Trials. My uncle is mentioned a few times in the video. It is quite harrowing as it is slowly revealed what happened to the men, but even worse was what the Gestapo did to our female secret agents inside a prison camp. After many other horrors they threw them alive into a furnace. I have the video if you want to see it. It shows the spirit of the SAS never giving up till they get the result they want.

I've met special operations guys before. To a person you'd never expect the things they've done. My cousin was USAF special operations, they're the most low key people I've met. They know the full value of surprise.

It's probably too long of a video to do a reaction video on but Craighead did an interview with someone talking about his life before, during and after the military. It was really interesting, that man is a different kind of human! He's actually kind of shy too, he doesn't have the demeanor you would think someone with his skill set would have.

My boss when I worked in the security industry was ex SAS. As we did a lot of personal protection work he trained us himself.
He went from a cardigan wearing family man to a dangerous professional in the blink of an eye.
Although I can't go into detail, I'll just say that his training has saved my butt on many occasions.
✌️♥️🇬🇧

That was amazing! 😮 Thank you for sharing your reactions to this awesome, brave soldier. Love from Oklahoma, USA. I hope it isn't too hot for you guys when you come over here next month.❤

You had said that these people have a special something to them or something along those lines. Its people like them that willingly go into dangerous professions like (but not limited to) the military, become firemen or police officers. They willingly run into the danger zone instead of running away from it that instinctual to most humans & animals. These people are natural born heroes, whether they are military or civilian they are heroes.

I went out with a woman who had been in the British armed forces and she told me 2 SAS stopped a major fight in the NAFFI in about 2 minutes. It was in the 1970s . Basically don't mess with these boys
