I really, really love that this kind of information is out here, because it is so hugely important. If you have a uterus, you will have a period, there's no avoiding it, and it's a crying shame it's been so stigmatized for something that's perfectly natural. Thank you for posting this educational video, it will save so many from shame and embarrassment.

2 things, tampons can hurt your hymen if its still intact and can cause pain. Also there was a recent study that found all tampon contain toxic metals such as lead and arsenic so please be safe and comfortable.

I have a tampon horror story for y’all!!!


So basically, a few months ago, i wore a tampon for the second time ever (I normally wear pads and i was going swimming the next day), after about 30 mins i started to feel really uncomfortable cuz i probably put in in wrong or not deep enough but i decided to leave it in at least for 1h cuz taking out a dry tampon hurts (i unfortunately learnt that the hard way the first time i wore one), after about 30-40 mins i start to get rlly uncomfortable and decided to just take it out. When i tried to, it hurt a LOT and i was trying to keep calm and think that the tampon was probably just dry so it was hurting a bit, after like 10 mins of pulling and not succeeding, i decided to feel around the entrance of my vagina to see if i could feel the tampon coming out, and oddly enough, i could and it was literally kind of already poking out, but it kept on hurting like HELL, so i decided to get a mirror and squat over it so i could see what was going on and OMFG bro my freaking hymen was literally stoping my tampon from coming out (imagine a circle representing the bottom of the tampon, my hymen was going across it, kinda like it was the diameter of the circle aka tampon) so i had to push the tampon back in and move my hymen out of the way so i could take it out.

Safe to say that was traumatising as heck, like imagine pulling on your hymen for 20 mins straight with full force.
The worst part is that my hymen didn’t ever tear so I’m probably gonna deal with this again in the future.😪

Long story time coming up~~ TW







So, one on my friends had a tampon in for 6 months. It was when she first started having a period. She was at camp and wanted to do swimming activities, so she used a tampon. (Ngl she skips a short bit of time.) Her and her family went to a sort of amusement park after she went to camp. Lets just say the ride isnt the only thing that shot 🆙 after that ride she couldnt find the string so she assumed it had flung out on the ride. She was really embarrassed so she didnt tell anybody.

My friends was also on the swim team at the time, so she used tampons again after all of that. Around that time she started having brown discharge alot. She thought that was completely normal. 6 months later she got up late for a drink of water and while she headed to the kitchen her mom was sitting there. Her mom noticed her scratching *down there*.

Her mom was obviously a little confused. She asked my friend why she was scratching and my friend basically said, "idk, must be the brown discharge." Her mome got super concerned but they didnt do much for a few days, thats when my friend started getting really sick.

Her mom took her to the ER and the doctors told her about the tampon. They sent my friend to the bathroom to get it out.

The tampon was really full, very brown, and smelled horrible. Luckily, my friend is great and very healthy now. When she told me this story we both died laughing and now we both call her past self a stupid child. I love my friend and im so glad she's okay. ❤😂
