An Dream SMP animation test I did

the Assassin's Creed Valhalla trailer. I reanimated it because I wanted to get practice on animating melee combat and I wanted to see if I could follow reference footage.

This isnt a Dream SMP 2D animatic or But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a Dream SMP Animation 3D animation!

Gotta say, I love how the Nertherite armor looks.

For Dream, it's a well crafted and fitting chest plate. Because he's got the resources and time to make a tailored suit of Netherite armor.
And Tommy's looks too big on him; like he scavenged it together from leftover Netherite armor scraps he found in Techno's basement.

Don't know if it's intentional, but I think it's a nice touch

god this is SICK. im obsessed with how heavily dream tosses tommy around, it really gives off this visual that this is a _child_ trying to fight a grown man and failing miserably, but still trying his best. its such a good decision. also as a 3d animator myself this blew my fucking skull open this is so well made. HOW do you do this my god.

I will say that this is very impressive and I don't find the camera movements wonky. The only thing I really noticed was the scene when after Tommy grabbed the sword and it cut to Dream, Dream's walk felt a bit off but other than that I like this a lot

I love the detail, that Dream actually has a better armor, showing that he is more experienced. Again, nice touch to the details

Someone needs to show this to Tommy on stream. The artist deserves more recognition.

Just imagine if the dsmp was a movie or show, THIS is what I would want it to be, not real people acting but THIS!!! Wow this is amazing work, I just watched the other ones and I just cannot believe or even start to think about how long this took,
