Maintaining any RS Audi is silly expensive though, just replacing pads and rotors is in the thousands.

Most fun car under £20k, well...since I reckon a Pug 306 GTi-6 is the most fun car, that ☺ Definitely not an RS5 though, they're fast and comfy but while I do love a good auto box and cars that understeer can be kind of fun, auto + understeer = not fun.

Some of the many cars under £20k I'd pick ahead of the RS5, in order from least to most interesting: E92 M3, E46 M3, Maserati Granturismo and a possible winner overall for me- TVR Chimaera. For the last 2, they count because only the purchase cost has to be under £20k, not the annual running costs!

I think Mitsubishi were right to stop making them, and Subaru should do the same. The cars lost their magic when they stopped being based on rally cars.

2:50 - I heard from DriveTribe the reason why the K Series engines in the Elise were unreliable is because Rover cheapened out on the parts for the K Series, including the head gasket.
