Soke Hatsumi is the 34th Grand Master of Togakure Ryu Ninpo Taijutsu. He was the inheritor from Toshitsu Takamatsu Sensei, whom he studied with for about 15 years, traveling every weekend on the train to study these martial arts and carry on the flame of inspiration that they carry to many throughout the world today.

Soke Hatsumi has many friends throughout the world and did travel for about 20 to 25 years around the world trying to enlighten and carry the teachings of Buddha on martial arts to different cultures throughout the world and expose people to what martial arts really is in Japan and give them a greater understanding of the realities of Japanese martial arts as they relate to history, culture, as well as innovation in today's modern combative situations.
