Presentation Tip: Use Mouse Sonar to Direct Attention #shorts

In this #shorts video you'll learn how to activate the "sonar" effect for your mouse. This way whenever you're presenting your screen (whether in-classroom training, online meeting, Excel training, etc.), you'll be able to direct the attention of your audience to where the mouse is. I've used the sonar for years to find my pointer because I use a triple monitor setup and I often lose the position of my pointer. Very helpful indeed!

Leila, this is a great tip to get out to viewers.
I use this feature on EVERY SINGLE teams meeting when I have control.
Once you do it a few times, you quickly learn how you can keep moving along at a better pace since you have confidence that the viewers have looked at your area of focus when you SONAR'd.

even better in some circumstances: Start->(type) "Change Mouse Pointer Size" then adjust the size and even the color ;)

Excellent - thanks. It works a bit different for me. if I tap the control key a circle appears, if I hold it then nothing until I release when I get 1 circle. Left mouse click doesn't make any difference.

This is a very useful tip. The near-sighted person I am always looses where the mouse pointer is. This should help.
