The scene with the horses is from the war that Panjab fought with Alexander the Great. Panjab is the only region that Alexander the Great wasn't able to conquer. King Porus of Panjab had an army that was 1/10th the size of Alexanders army and still was able to defeat Alexander. Alexander got struck with an arrow to his lunges and eventually had to return home to Greece, thus ending his conquest of the world.

The other pictures are from the war that Panjab fought against the British army. England was able to conquer all of India with ease. However, when the got to Panjab they struggled. The British fought several wars with Panjab that lasted many year. England then realized that the only way they would ever defeat Panjab would not be on the battle field but though offering bribes to top Panjab generals.

The Indian Govt has passed 3 bills that are in favor of big corporates and not for farmers. So millions of farmers are now protesting against these laws, they want the govt. to take them back. The Indian national media is labeling the farmers as terrorist or antinationalist because they don't want farmers to protest. Even if they are protesting peacefully the military used tear gas, water cannon, and physical violence on the farmers. It's now almost passed a month since farmers arrived in Delhi, but still the govt. is not listening to their requests. A lot of farmers lost their lives, due to cold weather, health issue, and accidents, also because the majority of farmers there are old people. All the Punjabi artists are supporting this peaceful protest and have made a lot of songs about it. Sidhu realized his own, in which he is basically saying that throughout history Panjab has always taken his revenge against injustice and oppression, to remark this fact he made use of some historical events. He used "Panjab" instead of "Punjab" because Punjab is the region of the five rivers, in Punjabi five is "Panj" and river is "Ab" so the correct name would be Panjab, but the British named the region Punjab because according to the oxford dictionary this was the correct spelling for them, but not for us. So basically this is a motivational song to warn the central govt. (Delhi) that is not good to fuck with Punjabi people, because if they don't get what they want peacefully they also know other methods as well.

The person in the start giving the speech was In the 1980's when alot of sikhs were encountered murdered unlawfully just because of their identity by the indian government . The person who's name came first and you saw the clip was SHAHEED(MARTYR) SANT(SAINT)JARNAIL SINGH JI KHALSA( HIS NAME) BHINDRAWALE (HIS DISTRICT BHINDRAN KALA) . he was the 14TH MUKHI(leader) of the SRI DAMDAMI TAKSAL which was set up by GURU GOBIND SINGH JI in the 18 th century to educate people about sikhi and teach them it is a travelling university that travels across cities, villages, states, countries. It's 1st MUKHI was AMAR SHAHEED BABA DEEP SINGH JI who took the revenge from Ahmed shah abdali for destroying the GOLDEN TEMPLE in the 18th century and whilst fighting he was beheaded but kept fighting with his hand on his palm to keep his oath that he will bow his head infront of HARIMANDIR SAHIB before dying which he then did after winning the battle, his sword and other weapon are still kept as a historic memory in the HARIMANDIR SAHIB complex for people to see .SANT JI fought for the rights of sikhs which were promised during the freedom struggle to them by pr.jawahar lal nehru, m.k.gandhu, and others, but never given, an addition to that right after the independence in 1947 they took out a document saying that sikhs are a criminal sect which should be treated strictly by the government of India. He also fought against the article 25 in the constitution which says that sikhs are a part of hinduism, he also said that Sikhs, Buddhists , and jains should get their separate coloum in the law they are submerged with the hindus till today. He along with all the educated people of panjab set up a ANANDPUR SAHIB MATTA/RESOLUTION which has 52 amendments you can read it online . Talking about the state getting the rights, labourers having a fix income to meet their basic needs, for beneficial farming, etc. He said the then prime minister indira Gandhi should have a table talk with us and agree to the resolution we want to be first class citizens of india and enjoy the freedom and rights given to the majority hindus. But indira Gandhi kept sending her aids .you can watch his interviews and speeches online.atlast she had planned a attack on the HARIMANDIR SAHIB in 1977 before even Sant ji was appointed the leader and took out the heinous crime on June 1st 1984 it lasted till 6 th of June1984. sikhs inside fought bravely to protect the innocent visitors inside but government showed no mercy they strategically shut down all power and water supply to punjab surrounded it all with army and took out the act the day 4 th of june was celebrated as the PRAKASH PURAB of the 4th GURU SAHIB people came in huge numbers to pay respect .They let them come inside and then trapped them after the attack and the martyrdom of hundreds of sikhs .they took all the men tied their hands with their turbans behind there back made them walk on their knees on burning coal, killed innocent children, fired carefree killing hundreds, took out sikhs from their houses shot them dead, raped woman and burned the SAROOP OF SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB, attacked 49 other GURUDWARAS all over india and what not . SANT JI said if they agree to the full ANANDPUR MATTA (which did not have any wrong demand)we will stay with india, but the day they come armed with their shoes inside the HARIMANDIR SAHIB COMPLEX , pickup arms and take freedom . They BLAMED SANT JI for the attack even though they planned it even before he was in the HARIMANDIR SAHIB COMPLEX . They said that they had arms inside the GOLDEN TEMPLE . But our 6th GURU started this tradition of arms and built the AKAL TAKHT sahib there were no arms inside GOLDEN TEMPLE the main area, GURU GOBIND SINGH JI ORDERED US TO KEEP ARMS, but they dont tell us what they did with the arms, in the total of 7 years in his leader ship from (1977-1984) no woman was raped, people did not go to police station but came to him to take action against crime dowry abuse was stopped , he took out the responsibility of so many under privileged girls marriage as his own daughters, punished those who committed domestic violence, .
His words " Whether the girl belong to a hindu family or any religion or caste, if anybody tries to or rape her regardless of anything kill that person and I'll take full responsibility .

In this song Punjab state(provincial govt) is asking Delhi govt(federal govt) to not act like a dictator. Coz recently delhi govt passed laws that will destroy farmers and take away their selling right and leave them prone to big corporates. And Punjab state is a major agricultural state so it will be directly affected. So in this song Punjab is reminding Delhi of history how sikhs (people of punjab) conquered delhi 19 times when it was under dictators like turks and mughal invasions. So its a warning to centre to not mess with the state Punjab as their history speaks Punjab and sikhs never let opressors survive.
