The moment when she realizes the person sitting beside her is her father is heartbreaking...

I’ll never forget the moment I realized what song she was playing. As the camera panned out of their hands on the keyboard my response was the same as Sauls what the frack... that’s the music! This show is so underrated

This might just be my favorite scene from the whole show. It's certainly the one that stands out in my memory the most.

I love Saul's "what the frak" in this scene

That look on her face at 3:01 when she realizes who he is. And those few moments, not saying anything or questioning it, just accepting that for a brief moment that the impossible is possible.

... is it just me or was this show insanely underrated? I think the Battlestar Galactica title put a lot of people off watching it when it was released as they remembered the 70s show. I have never watched a show that is so deep and has so many plot twists in my life. Almost every character was perfectly scripted and perfectly portrayed. Gaius Baltar undoubtedly stole the show, why do i not see the actor in more big named films? Colonel Tigh's "frack this" and "frack that" are golden... GOLDEN do u hear me?!

I still frakking love the use of the number Twelve from Battestar Galactica. Twelve Colonies, Twelve Cylon models, Twelve original Jupiter class Battlestars including Galactica herself, "serpents(vipers) numbering two and ten(a dozen)", and Bear McCreary's genius by figuring out the music can consists of Twelve numbers as coordinates, and finally Kara's song which consists of Twelve notes for the chorus. So say we all!!!!

I know the writers confirmed this isn't the case. But I really like the interpretation that Starbuck's father is Seven - Daniel - the Final Cylon who was purged by Cavil, for being Ellen's favourite.

This show was recently ranked the #19 TV show of all time. Amazing that a sci-fi show from 20 years ago has that much staying power. Goes to show the incredible writing and acting.

Appreciate the fact Kara's actually playing the song on the piano and not just faking it like they often do on TV

I've watched this scene at least 80 times before and somehow this is the first I've ever noticed the tears in Kara's eyes when she plays.

There’s never been another show that’s screwed with my mind so much. Love Battlestar Galactica!

Family finally got to binge watch this - when it came out our son was born - so it took nearly 14 years to see this series. We are still blown away by the show, how well it was done and the nostalgia it gave us - with Richard Hatch, the older Centurions - though sad that it all had to end. The character building was incredible - and we became connected to each and everyone of them.
