How come they didn't send you Caprice by Papadopoulos?? Best snack ever! Ion is the best, especially the almond and the hazelnut bars, but the huge ones with whole nuts!
I think Loux is far better than fanta, but you should try it cold!

"Your first and forever love" is ION's slogan actually.
Correctly Lacta is the chocolate that is tied to Valentines day, but its slogan is "the sweetest piece of your life"

It's a pity you didn't try Foudounia, a corn snack. Totally associated with childhood.

I'm from Greece and I really love ION chocolates, especially ION Almond bar. What Katerina has explained to you is true, it's among the most classical ones here, though not in a stick (stick version is fairly recent). If you ever get a bar of that almond chocolate you'll get blown not only by its taste but its smell as well!

Pasteli (sesame bar) used to be my least liked one when I was a child but as I grew up and tried different bars, I feel that the best pasteli is made of only sesame seeds and honey. Most of the ones you find in the market usually contain some glycose syrup which somehow ruin the sweetness and make you feel the bitterness of the sesame more, while the ones that you buy from local bakeries may taste so much better. I suggest you read the labels.

I used to enjoy a lot of Lacta when I was young but nowadays I feel its taste too sugary, too sweet so I may go for other milk chocolate bars.

Yes Dracoulinia are supposed to be teeth/fangs. There was a kid dressed as dracula in the old package. We used to place them on our mouths like teeth and pretend to be dracula, in birthday parties 25-30 years ago :)

It's not pronounced as "ion", like the potassium ion in chemistry. It is pronounced like "neon" without the "n" sound. It is named after a flower, "ίον το εύοσμον", or more commonly known as "μενεξές" (me-ne-xEs) which belongs to the species of Viola odorata

You should try merenda. Basically is a chocolate cream like Nutella but made in Greece and its godlike.
