It's not quantum gravity that's the noncomputable "gap" Penrose is guessing consciousness exists in - it's the quantum measurement problem. Penrose is then making a further guess that gravity has something to do with quantum systems losing coherence AND moments of consciousness occuring.

I'm not comcinced by the second guess but I think, for other reasons besides Penrose's, that the quantum measurement problem is where consciousness exerts causal influence over the universe.

Also: Bach is a fool. I have zero time for his ridiculous stupid opinions 😂

I cannot understand these comments about Chomsky 3:34. Hard to make out, and I don't know what he might in principle be referring to. Help, anyone?

David is on the right track. Joscha is walking in circles

This entire realm is a Divine game, with the goal of the game to conclude the game (ending the game, as inferred by "Samsara" and it's transcendence: "Moksha"; "Nirvana"; "Heaven").

As with all mysterys, there are clues/signs contained within the game that point to the exit.

The triune system that pops up at the fundamental descriptions of reality (yin yang TAO; mind body SPIRIT; wave function particle OBSERVER; holy ghost son FATHER, negative positive NEUTRAL; non-thing (thought) thing (physical) POTENTIAL (conventionally called "nothing"), is one of these signs

The information within the clue is relaying a MESSAGE. The information itself is not the message. A road sign displays information designed to assist the traveler to their destination. Human consciousness has misinterpreted the message on the sign TO BE ABOUT THE SIGN!!!!

Human consciousness has, for its entire history, misinterpreted the fundamental message/clue, and the search for the correct interpretation IS PHILOSOPHY, SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS, but they are following the path where the initial assumption is incorrect. So they are going exactly 180 degrees in the wrong direction, into delusion.

So David is correct when he mentions analogy and metaphor. If the initial assumption/interpretation is INCORRECT and taken to be CORRECT, that developes into infinite regression or expansion ("Turtles all the way")

STFU (your thoughts) and LISTEN.
