Been doing ice baths at 8-10 C (46-50F) for 10 minutes a day for a month. Definitely noticed a difference in my stress levels and how my body handles stressful situations. Along with the Wim Hof breathing method, I'm finding my cardiovascular system is improving too.

Btw, if you want to make it more fun, try to have a ice bath close to a sauna, and go back and forth between the ice bath and the sauna.

I have been doing cold from the tap 20 min soaks for my feet. First time, i hated it. After getting the feet accustomed to the temp which is about 3 mins for me, im ok. I plan to go further up. I have osteoarthritis all thru me. I dont just jump or set my feet into the water. I start with toes and very gently and very slowly in goes the rest of my feet. You can do this just for body parts, you dont have to do whole body.

I stopped doing it due to laziness, and as a result my drug addiction took over... well not no more! Back to Ice Baths and to make them my new addiction instead of drugs!

The dopamine is what gets me interested now

Wonder how much this works with ADHD. My dopamine is so low because of it that I'm never motivated to do anything

The reason it increases adrenaline is because you body thinks youre dying, this also increases stress hormone, which ages you faster. The reason it increases dopamine AFTER the ice bath is because when you leave, the bodies reward mechanism will release dopamine to make you feel rewarded for escaping the threat of death so that you are motivated to escape the situation.

Cortisol the stress hormone has negative effects on the CNS, body and mind, essentially degrading all of those.

People think this cold therapy is something new, it's been practice for thousands of years. I was introduced to it back in the 70's, " Pavo Airola ", research his books on juice fasting, amazing.
