Thank you very much. Glad your video showed up on my YouTube recommendations. I've been looking up barn door hardware and barn door building and installation videos the past couple of days. And the ones I watched involved well over $1, 000 dollars worth of tools and machines. By contrast, this video is down to earth and shows tremendous resourcefulness to accomplish pretty much the same results.

While I might not have been that interested in this particular project, I do appreciate the longer format tip. For a long time these tips have been really quick/trivial or showing off how someone designed a knitted cozy for their drill press.

My home depot and lowes both have those rollers. They are rollers for patio doors. Thanks for the video.

I have been putting this hardware build off for a few months because I was not sure how to bend the flat metal. Your way is great, cheap and easy. Thank you.

I love the clear and concise explanation. You took all the guess work out. This should be easy for me to replicate. Cheers!

Thank you so much for this video. Here in South Africa they want to charge you an arm and a leg for the hardware. Now I can make it myself

Great sense of humor. Jam Nut threw me for a moment. Oh yes, good info as well.

Hi. Many years late... But would you recommend this technique for making the hardware for a full sized single barn door? What sort of wheel size would I need to use for that kind of project? how not a lot of expensive equipment was used in this video. Makes it SEEM doable for newbie DIYers like me 😃. Thank you!

I could just listen to the hack sawing at 1:48 on a loop all day. :)

Great design I like how repeatable your process is. Using a hack saw is a good way to show it’s possible without power tools. I’ve worked metal professionally for 12 years made me cringe a bit though lol.

I have a question: Why the need to cut the dado all the way across the length of the plywood, just to put scrap back in for a stop? Could you just mark the distance and stop the dado at that point?

I love this. Much classier than other solutions. I wasn't clear on what to look for on the McMaster-Carr site. Do you have a link? Thanks

How deep was the dado cut, how far apart were the holes and what's the total length of the bar?

Wow good job. You should make more of those and sell them on eBay and Amazon!
