Awesome project! Instructions very clear, precise and easy to understand. Just the right speed for someone who wants to get an understanding of the full project before starting, without watching an overly long video! Highly recommend!!

Very well done Pete. This is how all of these DIY videos should be put together! Great video and the voice over instructions explain everything so you know exactly what to do.

Holy Helena Montana where has this been? I have all the hardwear but this remains one of the unfinished projects in my new house. This is exactly what I want for my barn door! Thanks so much! I can't wait to show my son this, and bust this out to impress my 6 brothers .... who are self-proclaimed journeyman carpenters, engineers, and architects even though they spend their days doing taxes, drilling people's teeth, and coaching.

Thanks for this. I'm moving into a new house at the end of the month and was looking into buying a ready made sliding door, but will use your design for sure!

Thank you for showing the handle pull on the backside of the door. I have searched all over for details. Our door will be on a bathroom so we definitely need an inside handle.

Nice work Pete. I almost moved on when you called that sheet of OSB "plywood", but let it slide (pun intended.) ;-)

Beautiful work. I am a trained blacksmith. I am going to build the same door! The only thing, if I may say that we liked less and we think it is out of the proportion of the door, is the tiny handle. In my opinion, double the size. That being said, the video, sound, techniques, details, step by step were simply fabulous.

I have been remodeling a basement using cedar for baseboards, moulding, etc..
Funny, I applied the same water based product. Very happy with how that product keeps the natural tone of wood.

Door looks great! I do wonder if a welding metal together at seams would deter any future wood warping. Perhaps the osb is enough to keep things plumb.

Wow! That turned out great, Pete. I really enjoyed your tutorial, the pace at which you present the steps is just right.
