It's currently at an 86 on Metacritic so it looks like a definite buy for me. Especially considering its only $40

I got ps4 for exclusives like Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Spiderman, and cause I think sport games like NBA, Fifa, and so on, are played a little better on consoles, while owning a high end PC, thinking I'm not gonna play ps4 much, for it's "bad" graphics (compared to top end PC). I played those games, while mostly still play PC - especially FPS games.
I'm 35 now, having a wife, working and training sports a lot, and I don't have much time for gaming, I'm mostly a weekend gamer.
I got PS plus prescription for multiplayer, never thinking I'm gonna play any free monthly games, cause I thought that are some very old, small, and bad games.
While simultaneously buying a game I really wanted, I saw
this Rachet and Clank game, which I heard of before (never had PlayStation before, only PC all the time), but didn't know much about. Then I saw the title art - damn it's a kids arcade game, never like those, not even as a kid. Well, let's try it, it's free, why not play for 5 minutes and then delete it.
Well, I tell you this - I have more than 30 PS4 games, some of which I always wanted.
And on this platform, I never fell in a game so much as here. It's the first game on PlayStation which I really love, I don't just play to finish it, I really enjoy it, the originality, characters, humor, graphics, and everything is really amazing.
And the game is really smooth and responsive.
Also music, colors and atmosphere are all beautiful, and the game is easy to learn, but still quite a challenge.
Graphics is also the most beautiful I've ever seen in any game. Literally. And I don't mean best. But the most beautiful.

Here, I, a 35 year old male, who plays mostly simulations and shooters, find myself playing the game long into the nights hours, which didn't happen to me since high school. And it's a kids arcade game.

This is the game which surprised me most out of all games. And I hardly even touch a PC - or any other game now.

Ratchet & Clank (just like Jak & Daxter) always had a colourful and sometimes mature sense of humour. I love it! And the Plumber a guy....back in A Crack in Time I discovered he was an omnipresent being. Which explains how he always manages to pop up in the strangest places. He always seems to know things waaayy before we do too. I wonder if he was being serious about that "next reboot" quip

I'm beginning to think that the 9th generation of gaming is going to capitalize on bringing out HD remakes of beloved classics. Games like Super Mario Sunshine and Sonic Adventure 2 may be in line for this.

This is probably the best looking game I've ever seen! The most realistic? No...but the graphics and artstyle really go well together and are amazing!
