Stucco lathing on saw-cut window holes.
Folks, we are located in Oakland, CA.

Howdy Folks, all the basic tools we use and recommend on Amazon's website.
Kirk Giordano Plastering Inc.

For immediate bids, send pictures to Jay or myself at our sites below.

FYI, most homes were built before 1980.
You do the best you can fishing the new paper under the existing one.
Often the existing has deteriorated, but that’s when break-out or caulking becomes necessary.
We must do our best or improvise when working with stud homes with leaking windows or walls with no plywood substrate.

This video explains how to tie the new stucco in as best as possible, considering the GC saw-cut the window perimeter.

What do you do with an older house with no wood behind the stucco and you need to put paper behind the existing paper as a water barrier?

HI Cho CoMo, thanks for the tip.
Sometimes, I like this one I screw up a title, words and even worse do it on video, good thing my son Jason, Knows as much as I do about stucco, and says" dad you screwed up a descriptive line, say it over, this time correct!"
Thanks for watching and have a great day!

Hey Kirk,
Do you use 2 ply 15# paper or 30# ? Is 2 ply better than say one 60# paper. Why?  Do you ever use #60 for repairs, the tick stuff? Thanks, KG

NOT ON SUBJECT.
Talks about AFTER cutting stucco.
Subject is supposed to be about cutting the stucco.
