The vision for a circular economy for plastic

Plastics are versatile materials, but the way we use them is incredibly wasteful. More clean-ups and better recycling alone, won't solve plastic waste pollution. We must shift our focus to innovations and business models that design out waste, and keep materials in use and protect and restore our environment. We need a circular economy for plastic in which it never becomes waste or pollution. The vision for a circular economy for plastic packaging has 6 key points described in this video.

what percentage of attrition and replacement is expected for reusable packaging - wear and tear plus damage plus consumer waste. People will just throw things away or keep the packages long enough that they will have to be replaced. Some packaging may be kept for other uses - art, carrying, whatever. Curious to hear what thoughts are on what level of attrition is necessary to make reusable packaging viable. (not to mention what sort of scales are necessary to make the reverse logistics viable)
