Understanding and Using Dynamic DNS

In this video tutorial we look at Dynamic DNS and how it is used on small business and home networks to allow remote access to resources on a home network from the Internet.
To use Dynamic DNS you will need to sign up for an account on a dynamic DNS provider.
The video cover signing up to the NO-IP DDNS provider and how to setup your Home router to use it.
I also explain what you need to do if your home router doesn't support DDNS.

Would this apply in an environment where an ISP is running NAT on an upstream router as well? For example: your end device IP would be nat'd behind your router, which is then in turn part of another nat pool established by your ISP's router.

is there a way that i can force my router not to change ip ( after 24h or reboot ) so i can keep same ip forever ?
this ddns providers most of time ask for money or only gives u a domain only for 30 days

After the dynamic IP address has changed and the DDNS has done it's job, how will the router know what machine to port forward to?

When I port forward, I give my router a destination IP, this is why i'm confused
