When an immigrant is charged with a crime, they should think about a few things. First, will this crime get me deported? Second, will this crime keep me from getting the next immigration benefit that I want? Finally, who can I get to help me keep my immigration status as strong as possible. We tackle each of these questions in today’s important video.

At Hacking Immigration Law we're dedicated to spreading the truth about immigration in the U.S.

Our goal is to get people the help they need so that they can live united with their families and live the American dream.

I am passionate about my message because I stand for what I truly believe is right.

We fight for immigrants and won't be stopping any time soon.

Agree, by far the most complex. A domestic violence conviction has very real immigration consequences. Many immigrants without citizenship protection don’t realize that domestic violence which was accepted in their home country’s cultural norms can result in loss of LPR status in the US.

My name is Tariq Faruqi. I am filling up my citizenship N400 form. In form N400 there is a question about my mother " Is your mother a US citizen?" My mother died in 2002. What should I answer this question YES or NO. Please advise me

I am a green card holder, and in 2021, I faced simultaneous charges of a Class A misdemeanor for shoplifting and resisting arrest. Fortunately, both charges were ultimately dismissed after I successfully completed a pretrial diversion program. As part of the program, I completed community service and a life skills class, and I remained law-abiding for two years. However, I am worried about the potential implications for my immigration status in the future and the possible consequences if I were to travel outside of the USA.
