Saw two over my house this afternoon, flying low. Then three hours later two more flew by in the same direction. As soon as I heard em I was up from the couch and out the back door to catch a glimpse. They’re neat!

Driving South on I-81, I saw two of these doing touch and go. Quite remarkable, I managed to stay on the road.

The engineer who designed the ossprey, how he calculated the resistance of the entire structure and mainly the material used in the wings to withstand the acting forces, a genius.

When the G8 summit was in Newport, Wales a couple of years ago I saw one of these fly over head in Cardiff at super low altitude. It was insanely loud even compared to a helicopter. I remember thinking "god that seems like an impractical, gimmicky design... but damn is it cool..."
