Also the Osprey has a small wing span and the rotors are too small, So it can't glide if there was an engine failiure

Not me accidentally calling the osprey an Avenger because of GTA V

General rule of thumb with ospreys, if you see fluids leaking, that's good because you know it has fluids

“The president can’t use it, but you can”

Active duty Marine that works with CH53s and Ospreys from time to time. The down wash is almost nonexistent on the 53 ONLY when you are directly beneath it. If not, you’re getting hit by pretty strong wind. The Ospreys however, don’t have this “eye of the storm” as the wind is coming from multiple directions. It constantly changes when the pilots make adjustments, due to the fact it is a tilt rotor aircraft. The blades tilt in certain directions in order to adjust heading or stabilize. My MOS involves standing directly beneath these aircraft and using a mixture of ropes and chains to rig a load the helicopter can deliver such as supplies or equipment. The army even does a very similar version of this in their air assault school. I have rode in both the CH53 and Osprey, and without a doubt would prefer the CH53.

I’m buddies with a V22 pilot. He says it’s the safest aircraft in the world, because everything that could go wrong, already has and got fixed 😂

Banned because he would probably fall up the ramp

V22 had a rough time during development and for a short time thereafter.. It sure looks easy enough transitioning from a helo to plane and back again, but it's definitely not. The Osprey is an amazing piece of engineering.

The rotor wash would flatten him. He already has issues walking/falling as it is

Just to help you guys realize how much power a V-22 has:
One flew over my school at about 1500 feet while I was at recess. The damn thing made a little dust devil with all of its thrust.

I never once wondered this, but not disappointed 😂

When I was in the Marines, we called them the flying casket.

Because it’s a terrible choice. DC is by far the most heavily controlled airspace on the planet, and Air Force One is escorted by fighter jets capable of engaging targets without further compromising security.

I really thought "he spilled ice-cream in the v22" or the risk of him tripping

Glad you cleared that up. I thought it was because he could not make it up the steps.
