That's a very helpful video. In fact, in mathematics, Surface integrals in Vector Field are not used much. It is simply a technique of integration that is thought of as a more applied version in two to three dimensions, but it is used a lot in physics, So in mathmetic dosen't multiply "tau" when get Surface Integral Because mathematics does not consider density.
