Hailey Welch, also known as the "Hawk Tuah Girl," threw out the first pitch at a Mets game. This got me thinking about why she went viral. The irony is that she’s one of the least obscene figures in pop culture.

She comes off as an easy going, kinda fun country girl. And I gotta say, I really respect that she's adamant about not succumbing to requests to degrade herself. The juxtaposition of a dirty joke told by somebody who seems to actually be quite wholesome is, well, a pleasant oddity these days.
