Legitimately the only time I've ever heard someone praise the boss fight. Brandon is certifiably insane. Can't wait for the Youtube video where you talk about how you wrote 5 books during your playthrough of Elden Ring.

That rune count in the corner is a nice bit of subtle horror, even with the rune saver flask

He writes insanely great fantasy novels AND he's better than me at Elden Ring? Life is SO not fair.

If you explore the area you might find a bonfire that is right next to an alternate boss door so you don’t have to run past the mobs

4 Kings in Dark Souls 1 has a similar HP design, but it feels like the reverse. You start with 1 enemy, and the longer it takes you to kill things, the more copies spawn. The name implies 4, but it is possible to kill it in 3, as the health bar is shared, and it is possible to spawn I think 6 of them. But yeah, similar mechanic so I thought I'd bring it up!

This is gonna be stated a ton, but there is actually a Grace point in a "secret" spot that allows you to run straight into this fight and even has a summon available to help with the fight.

Yay another person who likes this fight! I loved learning each of these on their own then squaring up against both in an arena that let's u control the heavy aggressive one while having to make sure the thin one doesn't have a good shot at you and he denies a lot of space in the arena. Such a fun spacing and zone denial fight.

Before you leave Farum Azula you should fight the dragonlord, it's pretty hidden and might be the longest "boss run" in the game, but one of the best fights hands down

It is so satisfying to see my favorite weapon loadout being played by one of my most favorite authors. Dual Shardblades 4 life!

This is exactly what I liked about repeating bosses in ER. Especially Godskin Apostates and Tree Spirit. I just got better and better at fighting them so I didn't have issues fighting multiples when it came to that.

I hope you make a video focused about what you enjoy about the storytelling and lore of these games.

I remember piecing together the order of events in Bloodborne and interpreting them through the perspective of my character as someone fighting these epic, larger than life figures and surpassing them.

I randomly stumbled upon this boss having no idea where it was. I had 2 estus flasks left and my mimic summon. That was it.

One of the most intense fights I've ever had in a Souls game and I beat it on my first try. Fun as heck.

Watching this video really makes me respect Brandon's patience.

I actually didn’t struggle too much with this fight in my first playthrough, something about my build made it perfectly doable and I had already beat apostle and noble separately. So I never really thought about it, it wasn’t easy but it wasn’t as atrocious as people say it tends to be. I think it underperforms from other FS gank fights, but they definitely deserve a good defense so thank you for this video.

I’m loving how little Brandon has leveled up vigor, what a chad. Who needs hp if you don’t die.

I don't think this is a great boss fight, but the difficulty is wildly overstated by the community. The duo are much easier to separate than some other duo bosses and each as low HP, meaning it's easy to get them into a 1v1 situation.

17:14 I like the way he says “..and so..”

I enjoy this fight, because a lot of people want to try it together. My favorite boss fights are where you can work together and defeat them.

I love that Brandon Sanderson went with the power stance as well it was very simple and fun to play and taught me the basics of the Dodge mechanic.

About the part at 14:08 where you mention getting distracted by the knights, there is actually a shortcut to the duo which bypasses them completely!
