Thank you, been mucking around with Sony Acid Pro and Audacity, and I decided something with vocals for a change would be nice, but I didn't know how. Also, how do you seperate sound files for remixing? I'm considering pirating (I wish I had money) SpectralLayers, but what should I do?

well, im new with with Fl Studio... but... where do you get the vocal from? i mean... do you donwload it somewhere or take them from the actual song and turn the background volume low somehow?

I noticed that you kept going back into the menu the change the snap for the Playlist. You can also press Alt to temporarily change into "None" so that you don't have to go back to the menu all the time. It saves quite a bit of time.
