omg i started yesterday after all these years and i was about to watch your 2021 guide when i thought, hey maybe he has a 2022, only for it to have been uploaded less than a day ago!

Another tip: After making your first base, go back to the build menu, and click square for PS4, or x for Xbox. Then, hover over your base computer, and press the shoot button. This will pick it up, allowing you to put your base computer inside of your base.

I think the only thing I'd suggest, is to focus on upgrading your scanner. The better the scanner, the more nanites you get which makes it much easier to get better upgrades as you continue exploring planets.

And it's very quickly taken top 3 of my most favorite games of all time, and this video showed me the answer to some of the questions I had left/ questions I didn't even know I needed answered 😆(I didn't know about storms helping jetpacks). Hello Games really redeemed themselves since launch. I was a day one adopter because the marketing worked too well on me and absolutely hated how empty the game felt. Never sold it out of spite and to never make the same mistake again but after seeing all the good reviews, I got the courage to try it out again. Definitely worth playing in 2022 but you need a lot of patience. I just got done setting up my Cobalt stash so I should be set on cash for a while. I am now saving up for a ship to help advance further in the game.

Mostly good, but ...

Sodium = worst way to charge shields. Batteries batteries batteries.

Cobalt = Very slow way to get very few units, better use of time is to get to space and kill the first pirate, that will net about as much as 500 cobalt, in about 1/10th the time.

Gather a lot of Buried Tech = no... Get enough to unlock Base Teleporter, Biofuel Reactor, and Wires... + 4
Then progress to the Anomaly and buy Roamer Geobay blueprint.

The Roamer will let you collect them more than 10 times as fast?

And remember.. The First blueprint you want from the anomaly is starship - Economy Scanner (a 2nd stage blueprint)
Install one and find a pirate system so you can just buy things and sell them at a non-pirate station for huge markups.
And freighters in pirate systems don't prompt defensive fighter ships when attacked... so you can load up on contraband that way too.l
