I'd suggest doing exercise before showering, and you can go for a run outside to combine sunlight with exercise.

For hydration, I always keep my water bottle filled on my nightstand, and the first thing i do is drink at least half of that water. it helps me wake up better than coffee ever did

I'm a very busy student girl and here is my morning routine:
- 10 min yoga + 5 min meditation
- 20min for hygiene (toilets, clothes, brushing teeth, washing face, applying make up)
- 10 min meal prep
- 15 min having breakfast while reading

And there you go! An hour completed! I always go to school on foot, so I have my sunlight exposure. I do sport and shower at night, also.

COMPREHENSIVE SUMMARY
-for all those who want to implement this routine.

1:24 get up as soon as the alarm goes off. [30s]
1:33 once you're up, do all your basic personal hygiene (brush, shave, shower), lay out all your clothes in advance, get dressed. [15m]


2:08 right after shower, drink water. water any plants if any. [2-3m]
2:20 make coffee. suggested method -'drips'. [5m]
2:32 simultaneously get some exercise in (pull-ups, crunches, push-ups)
2:48 breakfast prep. suggested - toast, boiled eggs, smoothie [6-8m] -also grab that coffee now.


3:22 bundle nutrition with learning. learn/read while eating breakfast. including cleanup should take-[~15m]
(personally, I prefer watching productivity videos in the morning, and planning out the day )


3:44 sunlight exposure. this can be taken care of in your commute as well.
if the weather is too bad. use the extra time for some more learning. [remaining time]



4:23 pack up your things. and head out. [5-10m before you leave]




Thomas also suggests that if you want you can skip breakfast (intermittent fasting). although I would never do that!
also watching videos while breakfast is also great.
really just experiment with the routine to suit your needs.


possible limitations:
-if you're in a shared household, might add complications, as you might have a bathroom occupied or someone else making breakfast.
-might want to leave some buffer time, in case well i don't know, maybe last night's dinner was really heavy or something.


i'd say use the routine as a framework. and edit to suit your circumstances.
