I'd recommend renting over buying. CH is a country of renters. Easy to pickup and go.

All the Cantons you mentioned are the most expensive in the country.

Hi. Very interesting and informative video. Are non EU residents allowed to acquire residential property in Switzerland? I am a US Citizen and would like to get a 1/2 bed room Condo in Switzerland for my personal use (my dream...) while visiting Switzerland. I realize i cant live there permanently or work, and would like to avail the Schengen visa to live there on a 89 + 89 day stay each year with a 91 day break between stays to comply Schengen rules. Couple of questions in this regard.
1. what are the low cost areas to buy such a condo / Apartment and what is the expected price. Will the laws allow me to rent it out during my absence.
2 . What is a good Real estate site to look for these properties.

"CHF" by the way is "Swiss Franc". No one says CHF.

You forget to mention that in order to have any sort of quality of life you need to learn German or French. English speakers don't last long here.

None of the videos you showed were of Aarau (which BTW is pronounced "R-Ow"). It's a pretty town, why not show actual footage of Aarau and not stock videos of completely different Swiss towns?
