The video omits unpleasant truths about each country. There is a reason they are inexpensive.

Where did you get your info from sir Dominica is more quiet than st Lucia and less crime with friendly people and low crime. The lowest in the Caribbean.

Guyana and Jamaica shouldnt be there. High in crime. If ppl follow your info they might loose their lives

If you wanna live like a local you can live and Belize on $1000 a month but most Americans cannot do that. You need at least 2000 a month. If you want to live like you do in the US, you’re gonna need a lot more than that. Keep in mind most things are imported which adds to the cost of living. If you’re gonna live on San Pedro, everything is imported. You will also be a target for every scammer in the country. please understand where you would be moving before you do it. It’s not like Vacation.

Jamaica and South Africa have massive crime rates and should be avoided even as a tourist. When I stayed at a resort in Jamaica, there were armed guards at all gates of the 8' high fence surrounding the property. Read the crime stats if your personal safety is important to you.

The dollar costs this vologer is giving out is totally misleading, his numbers need to be doubled to have a reasonable retirement, it needs to be tribled to have a safe, comfortable retirement
Typical YouTube vologer, luring you in for subs, likes views
Note, for every 1000 views he gets $20, for inaccurate information
Google those countries for yourself, don't go by what any vologers like this guy is pedalling you😂

Lived in Costa Rica for 14 months. The year round humidity was extremely challenging; like living inside a sponge.

You had St. Lucia right on the first try, then changed it to lou-SEE-uh just a second later.
Also, Grenada was pronounced greh-NAH-dah and greh-NADE-uh.
In Olly Richards' video on countries with a really strange brand of English, Guyana is included as almost unintelligible, and the country nearly roadless outside the capital of Georgetown. You called it guy-AH-na most of the video, then switched to ghee-AH-na toward the end. (?!);
beng-guh-LOO-roo should be BANG-guh-lore, India.
Philippines I can agree is a beautiful place, as I've visited 3 times, and there are quite a few Filipinos here where I live.
St. Kitts' sister island is KNEE-viss, rather than NEV-iss.
In our school days, Belize was known as British Honduras.

The cost of living in Malaysia is affordable but the new MM2H visa requirements are not. In addition, the rules keep changing so it can be hard to plan on retiring there. There are several versions of MM2H and it is not longer possible to apply directly. Applicants must use a registered agent, and their fees are not cheap either.

Try ILOILO CITY in the Philippines. It's different from all the other cities in the Philippines.

This video is stupid. South Africa? Really? I live there for 5 years as a kid and that is one of the most dangerous countries in the world. It is super unstable right now. I must has seen 10 gunfights in the open during my time there.

Philippines. Culture. Safety. People friendly. Best climate.

Many of these countries are not safe unless you remain within the walls of a resort. The Caribbean islands mentioned would be a bad choice for the LGBTQ community. I have friends from some of these islands and they left because their lives were in danger.
