“Don’t be sad” is a great book.As well as you can read "Enjoy your life" by Dr. Abdur Rahman Al Arify and "Productive Muslim" by Muhammed Faris.

A little known fact is that what al-Bukhari often does is repeat the hadith but under a different heading, letting you know that a different benefit is taken from that same hadith while people may think it's 'just' a repetition.

His book also contains tafseer and he accompanies many issues with statements/fataawaa from the companions.

Lastly, 'Sahih al-Bukhari' is already summarized by the way, its name is الجامع المسند الصحيح *المختصر.
