My Husband suffers from CCH, and Aimovig the monthly injectable CGRP has worked with 100% success. He has been free of occurrences. There is still a visual Aura but no pain. Unfortunately our insurance company will not cover the Medication and we are going to have to take him off it. The consideration or trying the oral route may be an option for us. Thank you for this video.

Im taking emgality for cluster headaches. Really bad constipation. There is alot of relief after 2-3weeks after taking 300ml shots. But i feel like it doesn't stop the source, i can still feel the clusters waking me up but it reduces the pain caused by swelling of vessels in brain

I’m waiting to see my neurologist to finally try one of the cgrp meds (once this Corona virus lockdown is lifted)! I started getting migraines after a 2002-2003 Middle East deployment. I’ve tried prophylaxis (e.g. amitriptyline) with mixed results but lots of weight gain (which obviously affects my ability to continue to serve in the reserves) so I’m very excited for cgrp.
(will do Botox if cgrp fails)

Great question about liver toxicity —Glad to hear there is less of a concern!
