Walnut desk legs, BUT with a secret 🤫. The amount of work and details that went into these desk legs was too much to not have a dedicated video. The full build video for both desks will follow, but for now, let’s talk legs!! Now one of each of these legs needed an access panel to be able to reach in and plug in the cord from a recessed power outlet in the desktop. But these legs are curved, so it was more than a little tricky and I had to get creative. Oh, and let’s not forget the MONUMENTAL underestimation of time and material I thought these legs would take, the things I might do differently next time, and the never ending problems that always seem to find me. So, let’s grab some walnut and I’ll show you how I made these legs!! Let me know what you think!

Keith, what you’re trying to do with the legs is called a “circumscribed polygon”. The math is a little be different than your approach, but still quite manageable. There are several videos on YouTube that will come up if you search that phrase.
