Side note, I saw an “eat the ducky moss” shirt today on a woman at Walmart in Cincinnati, Ohio. Was great to see!

Fun fact! You can save the rice water and put it in your plants. It’s filled with so many minerals and is a natural fertilizer. You can also ferment it and use it as a hair rinse!

Dear Emmy, I have come to the conclusion that one of the reasons I love watching your channel is to be called “beautiful lovely”! So I want to make sure you’ve been called it too. So beautiful lovely : thank you.

I have had “flamed” sushi before in resturants which is a simple nigiri that is gone over with a tiny blow torch to char the salmon or whatever fish that is on top. This seems like a similar concept, will have to try it.

Yeah this is so trendy in the Philippines. I’ve read that it originated in Hawaii.

I really love how your sponsorships are things that people need and should be normalized but most people won’t talk about.

We make this as a “lazy sushi” w sushi rice at the bottom, raw salmon mixed w Japanese mayo, Philadelphia, sriracha and topped with black sesame seeds and ttepokki sauce or furikake, then we scoop it onto nori and eat it!

I have made this several times since I 1st saw this video, Emmy. It always brightens my week. I take the leftovers to work for lunch. I prefer to make it with brown rice cooked in extra water so it becomes soft and it's sticky when it cools.

Who dares to dislike the Queen of beauty and tranquility!! Don't like, don't watch - negativity not allowed here.

My fiancée makes homemade two ingredient bagels (flour, Greek yogurt) and usually she dusts them in poppyseeds or everything bagel mix, but onetime I thought hey, try furikake! Sooo good! It makes for a super special brunch when topped with smoked salmon or lox. So I guess you could say we make “Sushi Bagels!”

I make something similar, except I call it sushi salad. I do almost exactly this, but I don't bake it and I put a pile of avocado, carrot, and cucumber on top. It's so refreshing. Next time I want to try it with the kewpie mayonaise. Good tip!

Man I really love how non fake you are. I get very annoyed of the overly excited and hyped persona people do online so I can’t watch a lot of things but you’re awesome. Thank you

The first time I was introduced to Sushi Bake was during my vacation in Hawaii to visit friends and family. I totally got hooked to the taste. imitation crab got boring after awhile so I switch to real crab. I also made other variations like salmon for protein. I also made other variations using other rice seasoning like salmon fumi furikake, seto fumi furikake, and noritamago furikake. This dish got me so hooked.

I also made one with inspiration from gyudon but the shape of sushi bake. I seasoned the rice with sesame oil and sesame seed, a thin layer of sauce (Sriracha, mayo, and vinegar), then topped with the sweet beef topping.

I am fairly new to the channel and had no idea you weren’t Japanese by heritage, but what I’ve always loved about you is your respect and affection for all Asian food...basically your respect for all people and their ideas, however far fetched. You are the epitome of what’s great about America.
