My great uncle is Major Dick Winters. He was my Dad’s hero. All the men I. Our family worshipped him. I knew him as the old man we would visit who lived near a chocolate factory. It was not until 1997 and I saw the movie did I begin to comprehend what he did for this country and humanity. PS Tom Hanks is a sweetie pie and Matt Damon has a baby complexion.🤭Currahee!

Most of my Great Uncles both sides Family fought WWII our Dad and his Brothers as well. Two Great Aunts were RNS serving overseas with 2 of their brothers. And I had to EDIT bc they were from a French family in Northern Michigan and there were 11 kids total mostly girls anyway An AMAZING GENERATION OF REAL HERO'S. ❤👏👏👏💯
