Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding Recipe

Magnolia Bakery released their famous Banana Pudding Recipe and this video I make Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding recipe. I followed Magnolia Bakery's banana pudding recipe hoping to get the same taste as their New York location. I can't believe I can now have Magnolia Bakery's famous banana pudding at home. Ingredients:
5-6 sliced bananas
1 1/2 cup ice cold water
14 oz of sweetened condensed milk
3 cups heavy whipping cream
1 box Nilla cookies
1 package instant vanilla pudding (Jell-o brand)

Recipe Directions:
1) Combine ice cold water and condensed milk.
2) Add package of instant vanilla pudding.
3) Whisk together then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
4) Whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
5) Add in pudding mixture and blend until smooth.
6) Add layer of pudding and cream mixture to the bottom of tray.
7) Add a layer of Nilla cookies.
8) Add a layer of sliced bananas.
9) Repeat until all layers are established.
10) Refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Best overnight.

I made this. My recommendations.
-add sugar to the heavy whipping cream for flavour.
-if you want it to taste more like banana instead of vanilla. Use banana pudding for a thicker banana flavour but it will taste artificial.
-If using vanilla pudding add only 2 cups heavy whipping cream instead of 3.
Other than that it was good and makes a hell of a lot of pudding.

I do believe this is what I had last Saturday. This particular recipe. I like Banana pudding. But, I rarely make it. I love this recipe. That Banana pudding was so smooth. I could tell that it had been whipped. Just delicious. The bananas were sliced very thin.

I love the magnolia recipe I just add 8 oz of cream cheese when mixing the condensed milk and a tbspn of vanilla extract and make it my own 🤗

I just MADE this pudding and I need to share to everyone that I used CHEESECAKE flavor pudding instead of Vanilla and OMG the taste is AMAZING The whole family love it and I'll make it again next weekend :-)

I made this last night but used half a can of condensed milk. Omg delicious! I’ve never tried the original from Magnolias bakery, but this was a hit!

4 eggs,
1/2 sugar
1/3 & 1tbs flour
2 cups of milk
Mix all in a pot
Turn stove on low temp and stir wait until it become thick. Take off heat mix 1/2 TBs vanilla extract and 3 tbs of butter. Of course you can use the egg whites from the eggs hand mixer with a splash of lemon make your own cool whip. Don’t forget the banana and vanilla wafers.

I got this same recipe from a Food Lion Vanilla Wafer box, back in the 90's and it is delicious 😋 I've started using Chessman cookies and it takes it to another level 😋
