I love the fact how they got the most epic sounding song possible for the last two episodes, and then no matter how low effort of an amv they put under it, it still became probably the best Code Geass opening. We marathoned the whole series with my friend in almost one setting during last night and this song was the emotional peak of the whole anime, and I'm extremely greatful for it!

this sets a kind of "in a fucking hurry" mood, tense and very anxious: it fits perfectly the mental state of Lelouch in that last stretch, a final gamble interrupted by a frenetical search for Nunally, while all his setup begins to crumble.

It only lasts for 2 eps but it is perfect

Such an underrated opening. Visually it's okay but I personally like it. The song on the other hand is incredible. Perfectly captures how tense and important the final battle was

I love the shot of Euphie at 0:37 as the beat drops, it fits so well for some reason

I dont know what it is, but once it hits the 0:37 I just get all emotional and nostalgic, like something about the mix of the visuals and THE MUSIC make me just like "damn, what a special, emotional, masterfully-crafted story this is"

Such a subdued intro. The vignettes perfectly matches the beats of the song and also highlights how each characters have been impacted, and is truly, the beginning of the end.
