Spoilers for the finale: The fact that Suzaku isn't at the end with all the characters showing up but we see both Zero and Lelouch is possibly my favorite use of an anime opening foreshadowing the ending

This is my favorite of all the openings. It just has this melancholic feeling to it. Like you've been on a journey with these characters for a long time and they've been through a lot of ups and downs and it's probably going to end tragically but also hopeful.

When I first saw the scene at 0:37 to 0:42, I thought the final battle would've taken place in the world of C's with Japan and Brittania joining together to fight Charles and his geass army where Lelouch would ultimately sacrifice himself for the world, turns out it was much better than I expected

No one knew lelouche actually cared about kallen and the black knights and nunally and he cared about Shirley rolo and everyone but he had to act like he didn’t so that there would be world peace he made the biggest sacrifice he was a little evil but I think he was a good guy in the end

I still remember the first time this intro played, it was right after Shirley woke up from that dream. It really felt like the series was at the endgame from that point on and I did my best to cherish every moment from there.

This will always be my favorite anime. I have seen about 60 anime in my 3 years of watching anime and this one will forever be my favorite. Everything about it is just so beautiful. The story, the characters, the conflict all of it. Not to mention the Goat Lelouch. Perfect 10/10 anime.
