Every western country has laws about wheels not sticking out past the fender liners. In the US the Truck guys love adding wheel spacers, improperly torqued, so the wheel is a foot past the fender liners. Then as they drive and pick up every pebble on the street and fling it on the windshield of the vehicle behind them....they learn their lesson. But usually the improperly torqued wheel spacers cause their wheels to fall off first. Get extended fender liners! It's safe and doesn't look dumb as shit.

I don’t think it looks bad, it’s just not going to give me what I want out of my expensive tire and wheel package. I think a taller sidewall ao52 on a 15/16” wheel looks as dope as a flush or devil camber car. Ones just more useful on the road, that’s why I chose it.

As a shop owner I don't think this guy really knows what he's talking about. Starting with "get a soft tire with higher mileage warranty". Those two things don't go together. The softer the tire the faster they wear, Feel any tire with 75, 000 warranty, they're hard as a rock. With few exceptions, that cost $400 a tire.

Wheel width should be the same to no more than 1/2 inch wider than the tread width. Still narrower than the section width. “Stretch” in your context really hurts performance and is monumentally stupid.
