I've been saying all my life that I look terrible in every shade of blue. You're the first person to feel the same way, so I feel 100% validated. The only shade of blue that looks remotely acceptable against my face and neck is teal, but that doesn't count because teal is really just a shade of blue that has a strong green element to it. And I do look good in just about every shade of green.

I think I have hazel eyes, too. On my identity card, there's written "brown", but having a close look, they are soft brown in the centre, mixed with green and they have a cool gray limbal ring. They also turned slightly softer with the years.

Lol my mom took me to the doctor too for being yellow & I'm completely different from my siblings. They used to tease me & say i was adopted. I've been told I have hazel eyes but they are more of a grayed blue/green with a grayed yellow orange center.

My mum has aqua eyes, my dad light blue grey eyes... mine are medium blue grey... with amber middles... so a combo of my parents too!!1 My daughters have hazel eyes for the eldest and amber eyes for my youngest... their father has amazing dark dark brown eyes and tans easily. My daughters do not seem to tan just like me <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 So much love!!! I made an eye colour granny square blanket for my younger sister... she tans lightly like our mum and has grey eyes xoxoxoxo

My dad is English/Italian and my mother is Irish. I have light olive skin, green eyes with a dark ring and yellow/brown inner irises. Both of my parents are dark haired, but I came out light strawberry blonde with naturally dark brows and lashes. Good luck with color analysis lol. For years I couldn’t find a color to wear. I finally figured out I am olive but pale and muted. We exist! I am medium contrast and wear a lot of the colors you can wear. I think softness/muted complexion is something that throws *tons* of people off.

Spectacular analysis! I can’t believe you thought you were ugly! I am happy that now you know you are beautiful.
I have hazel eyes too! They can look very green with lots of light, but as the light gets softer you can see an orangey amber circle around the pupil. The green can range from a bright warm green to a cool sage/greyish green to an olive green in darker light. I simply cannot pin down my eye color. It’s always shifting. Like you I have ancestors from different ethnicities as well and I loved when you said that you feel we are all family. That’s a feeling I also have.

Ella, this was great! You were always beautiful! You analyzed me with the same root skin color as you (but probably a different sub-type). You also said I should avoid blue. I feel the part about not fitting in with my cousins or being able to look great in colors like they did. My ancestry is British, Swedish and German, but one great-grandmother had pure west African heritage, so it makes me unique!

Both my parents had brown eyes, yet I've got light blue-grey. Also they both had dark hair but I was born blonde, quickly went strawberry blonde, them turned golden, then turned dark brown with golden shine. My dad's hair looked very dark but he was also born blonde and his hair turned darker quickly.

Green hazel eyes here, but lighter than yours, dishwater blonde hair, and very yellow skin. I understand COMPLETELY. I always worried about being so yellow and have recently found that I suffer from a condition where i cannot convert beta carotene to vitamin A, hence the yellowness. I have never been able to wear bright colors. Purple, muted reds, and browns seem to be best on me. Your scientific approach has been very informative to me and helped me to understand what I can wear. Thank you. And I think you are beautiful!

This was such an interesting video. Thank you for sharing your personal journey. As well, the incredible amount of detail and explanation about your colour type was fascinating. I have similar (but different) colouring as you. My natural hair colour is darker brown and I have black eyebrows. I have hazel eyes as well but I think less gray and more golden/brown/green (dark olive). I have the pink lips as well. Blue looks terrible on me; olive and warmer greens look great on me. Plus browns and some/similar purples that match you.

My father (German) had dark brown eyes. My mother (Canadian with British parents) had blue eyes. My two siblings have blue eyes, while I got the hazel. Their colouring is quite different from mine, as you said about your siblings. My sister looks good in the opposite colours to me.

Interesting. On my screen I see You like someone with redish skin. But on todays photos I can see, You are yellow based. Me too, but I'm more golden yellow. And like You said, many people look pink in comparison to me. I have warm hazel eyes and my hair was darker golden brown with red-orange tones, but as I age, they are more neutral brown.
