Spektrum NX10 FIRST LOOK and comparison!

In this video I go over the Spektrum NX10 and compare it to its sibling radios. We also talk through some special features not yet seen From Spektrum!

Let me know in the comments if you want to see anything else!

Edit: As for the model files, those are actually loaded on the Factory SD and will not be in future updates. I asked the dev team and they confirmed this. So you will have a bunch at launch, but will need to update your SD in the future. Sorry for the confusion.

Well explained…. Many thanks. My NX10 arrived today! Took a while to get the wifi set up but thru preservation, the new upgrade all done & dusted!! I will keep my DX9 & have listed the DX6 on Ebay. Transferred all my 25 aircraft to the 10 via micro USB & i am 73!
Greetings from Australia

I just bought the E Flite Apprentice and maidened it after a 14 year hiatus from RC..Fantastic & easy! I put a deposit on the NX10 while I was picking up the plane. Should be coming into my hobby shop next week. This video confirmed the wisdom of my choice. The whole hobby has completely changed during my absence..and for the better!

I’m an NX owner. And I 100% approve this video! It’s totally a bad ass control!

I just wanted to point out that the Horizon reps on RCGroups said the second diversity antenna is behind the nameplate, not in the handle

The NX10 has succeeded in making its programming and operating manual even more user hostile than the DX series!

I liked the neon colors of the IX 12...sadly they are gone now BUT my DX9 is still working fine so I don't need a new radio now lol

Thank you so very much. I'm going to buy the NX 10 over the NX 8, $150 more, but If I'm going to buy a new radio, I want the best!

I sold my first Gen Dx9 for $270, I was shopping for a new radio, I didn’t want to get the black edition 9 nor down grade to dx 8 black. I didn’t need 12 channels either, but the 12 was the only option for a proper upgrade. So I bought the IX 12 brand new, if this NX 10 was there before and not to say the Ix 12 is bad the Ix I2 is a great radio, I would have bought the nx10 if it was there back then. Great review Steve

Please show the voice comparison between DX9 and NX10. Also battery comparison between the two.
Lastly, is there a tool available which we can use an app to do the configuration and upload to the NX10. The thumb knob is easy to break. (I replaced a few times already on my DX9). Thanks

I like new and shiny but I still haven't seen a reason to upgrade from my DX9 and DX6 yet. Also, I haven't ever heard of anyone ever breaking the antenna on a DX9. I'm sure it's possible but I never heard of it being an issue.

I believe pointing your antenna at your model does the exact opposite of what you are saying. The point is typically where the dead spot is and the “sides” of your antenna is actually where the signal waves come from. The antenna does not act like a directional mic, therefore pointing it at the ground is inconsequential AND the patch antenna is beneath the logo on the front of the radio, so if anything, pointing your radio antenna at the ground is actually helping.

I’m trying to justify an upgrade from my gen 1 DX8 and this dude has four radios 😲

Modern magnetic gimbals use magnetic angle sensors; typically with GMR-type materials. The Hall effect is a very specific electromagnetic phenomenon not directly related to angle sensing; and a typical Hall sensor outputs a yes-no type signal like a crankshaft position sensor or the sensors inside a brushless motor.
