Today we revisit one of our beautiful 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard "Bursts", this time with our friend Aaron Hiebert. We've had Aaron featured on our channel in the past with a couple of strats and it was awesome, so we wanted to see what he could do with something from the other end of the spectrum! Keeping the talking to a minimum, this one is almost all playing, so give us a call or check out our previous video about this guitar for more information!

Great playing on a great guitar. Marshall and LP are made to rock. Much respect to the player.

I never thought I’d say this....but....I prefer the sound of that Les Paul through the Fender amp. That clarity, jangling beautiful sound just blew me away. I’ve always been a Marshall guy, but that was just too sweet sounding.

That's something from the 70's rock and one thing I've notice so far a les paul sustain it's so alive which turn so easy to get a grip and great feedback... Awsome tiger overdrive

Some of the best sounds you guys have had on the channel. We need him demoing more often. That fender sounded way better than the marshall on video but I bet in the room the marshall was moving some air. Cheers

Great video, guys. And overall really cool series.
Would love to see /hear it through a Bluesbreaker and, if possible, something like a Bloomfield Drive and/or a Morgan RCA35R.
Cheers

Sounds amazing through both rigs. Probably the best sounding guitar I've ever heard on YouTube. Ohh and great playing!

A bit of mic placement magic could have made that Marshall sound smoother.
And the PAFs less obviously microphonic...
But you get the idea.

Is this the Silver Jubilee that John Notto bought?

Sounded great through the vibroverb but was a microphonic mess through the Marshall, if he’d have stopped playing and not muted the strings it sounded like it would have squealed the house down.

Hey Emerald City. Lets do a Les Paul Tone blind fold study.... Pick a Les Paul Standard from each decade starting in the 1960's (68 or 69) all the way through the new Les Paul 2019 Model.. Start with the 59 LP in this video and play each through the same amp and let's discuss/debate which guitar/tone belongs to the correct year.... I'm betting the house the tone differences are very

Could you please post a video of someone who doesn’t know how to play guitar running this LP through a first gen Spyder on the Insane channel? Thanks!
