I do have the Cambly app, but it does let me sign on as tutor. It is telling me I have 5 minutes free lesson? How do I change.

Hello Kylie. I filled in the profile and so forth around 6 months ago. It timed out before I could complete the demo video for the kid's class. Is there a way I can speak to you to get some advise on a way forward.

Hiya, I was wondering if you could help. I´ve just been accepted to teach on Cambly kids and I´ve noticed that some lessons are either proper lessons or conversation practice. In regards to conversation practice is there any documents cambly has to help with convo topics? As engaging with a very young learner with limited English for 30 mins seems to be a long time - what do you usually speak about and do you prefer teaching the normal lessons instead of freetalk? Thanks

Do you think it would be ok to use really well behaved pets as props sometimes? Like if a student is loosing interest but they like animals and it pulls their focus back? Or would that be considered "unprofessional"?

I would be that kid that got pulled into listening to lessons with animals way back. Kids get too used to the same old thing everyday and like something new to shake things up once in a while...

You can cover alot of vocabulary learning with animals and its fun for kids. All I see in vids are alot of stuffed animals and color cards and I plan on getting those, but I have a dog that likes to be on screen and she is quite well trained so would be a really entertaining subject to get them to talk about. Maybe they have pets to show off back? Would shake things up but I don't know if I should never do that.

I'm leaning to stating on the safe side and avoiding giving the doggo screen time, but what are your thoughts?

Really great and detailed video. Thank you! I just got hired on to Cambly 3 days ago and hired on to Cambly Kids this morning! So your video has helped out a lot!

Are the "peak times" 9 UTC to 15 UTC the same as GMT?
