Advice for College Applicants - Admissions 101

When applying to college, be yourself! Admissions counselors can tell if you are trying too hard to please them in your application. They really just want to see who you authentically are.

My biggest piece of advice is just be you all the way through. Sometimes that can be tricky, that can be challenging, it takes courage, but you'll find community to help support you here and hopefully outside of these walls as well. But that's my biggest piece of advice.

On the application, it's easy to see sometimes that someone's trying to hard to appease to what they think I wanna see. I honestly just wanna see who you are. That's what anyone ever wants to see is just who you are.
